Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Out Front and Center
Alpha Phi Alpha or First of First. The name is apropos as many of our fraternity brothers created an aperture in their respective fields.
We are the organization whose members led the Civil Rights Act and whose members founded and supported institutions such as the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, The Crisis magazine, National Urban League, and the National Association of Black Journalists. Our members captured and subdued the Theater before there were Oscars, Grammys, Tonys, or Emmys. Our fraternity brother(s) paved the way for today's Musical producers in this organization
We are the organization whose members led the charge in historic court cases such as Brown v. Board of Education and whose members have continuously been among the lead voices in our communities around the world.
In athletics, we are the organization whose member(s) set the college football record for wins before the NCAA was keeping a count. We are the organization that stormed the '36 Olympics. This is the organization whose members dreamed to erect the only Washington D.C. memorial to an American born of African descent in the nation’s capital.
This is the organization whose members today still dream to build better communities. The organization whose members are Focused on the Future.
Your Future. Our Future. The Future.
